Community Hero Peter Clark // Tampa Editorial Photographer

I had a great time photographing Peter Clark, President of Tampa Bay Watch for the Lightning Foundation’s 10th Community Hero Award this season.

Each Hero is recognized for outstanding work within the local community and receives a $50,000 donation to give to the non-profit organization of their choosing. The photos are incorporated into a video segment shown at Lighting Hockey games up on a giant 28×50 foot HD arena display inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

I shot this editorial session with a Nikon Df and 35mm f/1.4G and 85mm f/1.8G lenses. Off-camera flash was used on the shot above and also in the last image of the post using a Nikon SB-910 Speedlight; triggered with Pocket Wizard MiniTT1 and FlexTT5.

All other shots were done with natural lighting.
