My very first job as teenager was a busboy in a hotel restaurant. I would go on to work as a server, bartender and eventually manager through my college years. Some of my best memories are from that time and the industry definitely holds a special place in my heart for sure. .
For me, food photography is an exercise in romance–crafting intimate compositions with sexy light to seduce the viewer. It’s about trying to convey a taste, a feeling in a single frame. Below are some samples of my work.
